Lovedale Cottages is in the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country.
Lovedale Cottages can accommodate couples in private log fire and spa cottages as well as families and large groups of friends. The cottages are close to all the major wineries, restaurants , cafes and wedding venues of the Hunter Valley.
We have fixed bedding for 43 plus some cottages can have extra beds put in if need be.

“Booked two nights and extended our stay as we were enjoying the place so much.. the cabins are cosy and neat and the spa is a lovely touch. We were in the area for my 50th birthday and after an early morning hot air balloon ride and an afternoon horse ride. It was nice to come back and relax on the verandah of the cabin looking out over the bushland, listening to the birds. It is so peaceful yet still close enough to town wineries and other activities. We played a bit of tennis and golf and swam in the pool. Paul and Rosie are very welcoming and down to earth and Hudson the dog is good natured, friendly and loves a pat. The cabin is well stocked and includes a lovely spread for breakfast.”

“Gen X’er stepping back into a magical cottage from my past.
Like stepping back into my grandma’s house with old furniture, teapots and
figurines. Slow combustion fire was mesmerising and gave a magical ambiance

“The cabin was set in a very quiet area and positioned east/west basically.
Very comfortable inside with a fireplace and air conditioner. The bedroom
was very nice and it had a great shower/spar in the bathroom. The inside was
decorated nicely with bits and pieces. The bonus was the provision of
Breakfast items. A BBQ was located in the garage. We will definitely try and
stay again.

surroundings.
Rosie and Paul have clearly poured a lot of love into their cottages. The
breakfast hamper was amazing! The amount of crockery and cookware in the
kitchen was plentiful – you don’t really need to bring anything. Bathroom
supplies were also included. The bed has an electric blanket and there’s
additional blankets to ensure you never get cold. The cottages are
beautifully rustic and you feel a million miles away from the hustle and
bustle of life, but yet you’re still close to wineries and much more. Having
a fireplace in winter is simply magical and Paul ensures there is plenty of
firewood. Hudson the dog is the superstar on site for sure. I highly
recommend the Lovedale Cottages for an escape into serenity with a
soundtrack of birds singing, ducks quacking and frogs croaking.”20 August, 2024

“Second time we been back and definitely not the last. We love it here. It’s so peaceful with serene surroundings and lots of privacy. The cabins are very nicely decorated, clean and spacious. “Had a great stay in cabin 7 celebrating the wife’s birthday. This is the newest of the cabins overlooking your own golf green with a lovely view down to the creek from the rear veranda.
A perfect location which is close to many wineries and restaurants and only a short distance to town, or is a great little private getaway if that’s what you want with your own full kitchen and generous hamper on arrival.

The family had a fantastic time away and loved the spas and beautiful fireplace in the cottage. The kids especially loved the indoor heated pool, tennis courts, old school ten pin bowling and putt putt golf. It was a lovely little getaway back to basics and enjoying the outdoors free from the normal busy lives.

Privacy, nature. Very spacious cabin with all amenities. Great breakfasts provided. Close to all Hunter Valley attractions. Hosts very polite. Would love to stay there again !

This place is amazing the staff are so accommodating and helpful.
So much to do on the grounds for the children, putt putt, tennis, golf, soccer, hide and seek, roasting marshmallows and the heated pool is the highlight of the our time at Lovedale Cottages.
We will definitely be back again once our time here has come to a end.

My hubby and I just spent 2 nights at this unforgettable getaway celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Under an hour away from home but felt like we were in another country. And country is the magic word. Peace and tranquillity is what we wanted and we weren’t disappointed. Cottage was quaint, well presented, clean and had everything we needed. We were very surprised by the supply of bacon, eggs, milk, bread, butter, juice, cereals, tea and coffee on our arrival. The fireplace and jacuzzi were a delight.

The perfect little cottage for a weekend away!
Absolutely stunning, bring walking shoes. My partner, baby and I always had something to do but sitting on the deck looking out the the bush is the perfect spot to relax.
Really appreciated the venue recommendations as originally we were only coming for
a balloon ride on the Saturday and decided last minute to make a weekend of
it. We really enjoyed our stay with you guys, the cottage was just beautiful! Thank you for having us we will definitely be back.

Had a fabulous stay, apart from not being long enough. Comfy beds, hot water, kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with everything we could possibly need and the breakfast supplies were really generous (thanks for the gf bread). Looking forward to staying again.
We stayed in a one bedroom cottage over the Christmas weekend. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a rustic touch. The location is perfect with just a few minutes to Pokolbin and Cessnock and yet very quiet. The fridge was stocked with all the breakfast essentials. The cabins are spaced apart from each other providing adequate privacy from other guests. We would love to return for another stay

Owners kept in contact with reminders and emails to fill me in on many things available to experience in the area and were flexible with check in/out times. I had contact through the process leading up to my stay and I didn’t have to chase anything up at any time they were wonderful. They were also easily contactable if needed. I loved my stay I was there as a wedding guest but my family and children would have adored it. Hope to back soon!”.
